Coronavirus: Knox County Parks & Recreation Statement

Knox County Parks & Recreation has made an official statement regarding the Coronavirus:

"After meeting with Knox County Public Heath Officials along with much thought and consideration, we are continuing on at this point with youth sports. But, we are asking coaches to tell parents that if their children are sick or not feeling well to not bring them to practices or games. The situation right now is obviously very fluid and things could change. if that happens, we will update the public as quickly as possible. 

Additionally, we encourage those in high risk groups to avoid crowds and consider not attending games or practices. For more information, please visit the Knox County Health Department's website about Coronavirus."
